BOXmaker AUTO features full automatic setup of modules, allowing the machine to be setup quickly. The time needed for switching between box models is less than one minute in total. Machine is equipped with a wide variety of modules allowing it to perform slotting, slitting, creasing/scoring, longitudinal and cross cutting, printing, and gluing – all in a single pass!

BOXmaker
Control unit
User friendly interface with instruction tooltips. Operator is trained within 2 – 4 hours. Control unit is a 15″ color touchscreen display with numerous features. Complete monitoring and diagnostics including load of the servo motors, air presure, power consumption, number of boxes produced, etc. Also featured on the control unit is LAN port for remote VPN connection and diagnostics.

Auto set up knives
The revolutionary “shark teeth” shaped knives are a result of evolution and have been developed through numerous trials and testing. Shape of the knives provides equal distribution of force along the cutting area, in turn producing a far better quality of the cut, than the single blade angled slotting knives, avoiding ripping and tearing of the cardboard. This technology provides for extended use of the knives which have proven not to lose in quality of the cut after 2000000 slots. The knives are automatically set up via the control unit. Featured on the PRO and AUTO models.
Auto setup creasing wheels
In addition, automatically setup creasing wheels allow for high speed setup of the machine. Together with automatically setup knives the switching between box models can easily be done in under one minute. This provides great saves in time and resources. Furthermore, automatically setup creasing wheels come with built in glue flap knives. The knives are always in line with creasing wheels and no additional setup is needed. Featured on the PRO and AUTO models.

Scalpel module
Pneumatically (powered by SMC Japan) actuated scalpel knives allow the production of a greater number of box models. A typical example of usage of this module is the FEFCO 204 box. On this particular FEFCO model the inner flaps meet in the middle. The scalpels are utilized for cutting off the excess material on the outside flaps. Furthermore, the scalpel module is used for the creation of the glue flap on machines which feature the manually setup creasing wheels. Available on MULTI, PRO and AUTO models.
Cross Cut module
High powered cross cutting module features circular blade and is capable of high speed cross cutting of the cardboard. Suitable for high density cardboard, the cross cutting module has working speed of up to two meter per second. Furthermore, this unit allows for fabrication of loading flap on the pallet boxes. For those extra demanding jobs, we offer servo powered cross cut module powered by a heavy duty servo motor. Available on the MULTI, PRO and AUTO models.

Flexo Printing Module
The flexo printing module can print single color labels of up to 150mm in height and 470mm in length. Ideal for standard markings on transportation boxes. The printer unit is aligned manually and the position of the imprint is setup automatically via the control unit. There are no limitations on how many times can a print be repeated on a box. Also, the printer has a mixing function so the paint doesn’t dry out when it is not used. Available on AUTO model as standard or as an extra on other models.
Gluing Module
High speed and gluing? We got it covered! With speeds well over two meters per second and the possibility of applying glue in single or double lines, the gluing module is an ideal solution when it comes to streamlining the box production. Excelling on big boxes, the gluing module will shorten production times and provide a more continuous workflow with more work being performed on a single workstation. Available on the AUTO model as standard or as an extra on other models.

Manually setup creasing wheels
Manually setup creasing wheels will provide you with quality and flexibility. The manually setup creasing wheels provide a flexible and easily customizable solution at an affordable cost. Although not as quickly setup as the automatic solution, the manual still only takes a couple of minutes to be put into position for production. Featured on BOXmaker BASIC (x2) and BOXmaker MULTI (x4).
Manually setup knives
Manually setup knives are a cost effective solution that provides high level of flexibility. The knives are segmented and the segments can be removed and placed back for superior flexibility. The segments are 100mm each and in standard configuration, the slotting knives are up to 500mm wide. The width of the slot is 8mm. Manual slotting knives are featured on the BOXmaker BASIC and BOXmaker MULTI, with the MULTI having a third, special middle knife.
